I like to control my DirecTV box from my iPhone to mess with my wife.

On a more serious and related note, Charly, one thing I noticed about reading your blog and those of others on an iPhone is that my first instinct is to double tap the post column to zoom in. I virtually never see the sidebar on a mobile device. Maybe there is an argument for placing important typical sidebar content inline with posts!

I read somewhere that placing Google AdSense ads in the post column is more effective than other locations, and with Google’s new “too many ads above the fold” penalty, an ad below the post seems to make sense.

I like the concept of a product based website. I have two sites that basically make their money from Google (I average about $975 per month.) Now I am ready to launch a site that features products and has visitors searching to buy. I think I will stay with the concept of building a large site of 200 plus pages. I have avoided having lots of mini-sites to have to keep up, with all my efforts given to two or three sites.
