Most people don't have a clue that FB is filtering out stuff they were accustomed to seeing ... not to mention that the algorithm is a guessing game at best, It sure doesn't work for me and some of my good friends who missed my posts completely because of this. The default setting should give folks what they're used to. FB could add the option and send out messages describing what's new, letting people try it out ... and give feedback on how well it's working for them. The programmers would also learn a lot from that exercise! I agree with John Morgan enormously. Click that and the column will expand. Go through the list and locate "Status Updates" click, hold and drag it to the top of the column. This will automatically set it up as default.
