As many are finding & as our Web Marketing Report suggests – the power of podcasting is growing, BIG time!

You may be thinking – what exactly is a ‘podcast’?
By definition, it’s an audio, or video, file that’s distributed over the Internet by syndicated download, or through a web page.
The most common place to ‘subscribe’ to podcasts?
Itunes.
The beauty of podcasting is best summed up like this:
- Your podcasts can be indexed in iTunes (servicing millions of potential listeners) for free!
- You reach out to a whole segment of people in their world (the podcast listeners) – these are people who may prefer their material read to them, rather than them reading it on the web!
- It’s EASY to do! Creating podcasts (you recording your voice on your computer) is a breeze with such programs as Audacity for the PC, or GarageBand (free on Mac computers).
Our ISG Content Management System (commonly called a CMS in the web world) lets you upload them to your web site with an easy-to-use administration page AND THEN automatically injects them into the iTunes directory.Yes, it’s free, and your work is minimized!
Here’s a couple examples of podcast libraries by a few Internet Services Group clients:
First Christian Church of Fort Myers – Sermons

and:
Scientific News – News Updates

If you’re an iTunes user, be sure to search for them by searching for:
- “First Christian Church Fort Myers”, and
- “Scientific News International”
Podcasts can also be indexed in online directories as well such as:
