Simple, intuitive and the way of the future.

I believe those very words capture the theme of our new, beautiful, results-oriented web site.

The process for us took about a year, and was a very collaborative effort among our team (as you can probably imagine, we’ve had some lengthy discussions about it in our weekly team meetings).

In that process, we first took a look at our very own creations and asked:

• how does this web site measure success,
• is this site successful with that measurement, and,
• what generates the most effective traffic for this site.

After digesting that information, we went in a different direction - taking time to analyze the ‘ultra-successful’ technology leaders of today.

We based “ultra-successful” on:

1. their actual technology produced (and its simplicity & intuitiveness),
2. their percentage of (or gain in) market share over the last 12 months, and, to lesser degree,
3. overall gain in stock value for the last 18 months.

In our research, there were three clear leaders:

• Google
• Apple
• Nintendo

An interesting observation I made with Apple & Nintendo was that with their latest products (specifically the Apple iPhone and the Nintendo Wii) my 3 year old daughter used them with literally no direction. It was surprising (and funny!) to watch her flip through photos on the iPhone, and bowl on the Wii.

Talk about simple and intuitive - I found that to be very inspiring!

Two themes seemed to remain constant for those three companies:

1. Their products work from instinct rather than from reaction, and
2. simplicity rules in almost everything they create.

Finally, I studied (and continue to study) some of the best documentation on the latest trends of human interaction on the web. Surprising to me (maybe not to some) was that the bulk of this enlightened material — print & web — comes from England! (Please contact me if you’d like to learn more!)

Anyhow, every feature in our new web site has a purpose - it has been scrutinized, simplified, tweaked, tested & verified to assure you have the best experience possible learning about our creations, ordering our products, and working with us.

It’s our goal, with this web site, to be the example by which simplicity, functionality, and intuition are measured on the web.
