We snapshot (or backup) all of the content in our hosted web sites hourly.

After careful analysis — we’ve determined the “hour-mark” to be a good average time to snapshot customer content.

However, we can change that to as little as every 5 minutes…

Imagine this:

You have 10 employees securely updating online customer records over the course of 1 business day (or 8 hours per employee).

Your web server crashes – you have nightly backups, and you lose that day’s work.

Assuming your nightly backup worked last night…

You’ve just lost 80 hours of labor & changes.

Even with hourly backups, you’ve still lost 8 hours (a full day)!

It’s important to analyze your backups, data, and test your backups — and in cases like our example, it’s important to backup multiple times per day.
